Resolute was a claims adjuster for 30 years, mainly handling injury cases. This entailed reading medical records going back many years for some folks. She could see the progression of chronic disease and the doctors’ heroic efforts to bring it all under control, often without success.

When she started having her own chronic health issues, she knew she’d have to look elsewhere if she was to have a chance to resolve them.  This led her to nutrition, becoming quite passionate about eating whole foods in their natural form, and understanding the sad state of our food  chain today.  To her delight, she discovered that eating a nutrient dense, whole food diet works!

When she retired, it was natural for her to formalize her personal learning through the Nutritional Therapy Association in Olympia, WA, followed by the founding of Primal Perspectives.

Resolute Michaels, NTP is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and a Certified BioIndividual Nutrition Practitioner.  While the focus of her practice is nutritional support for Autism Spectrum Disorders, neurological issues and autoimmune conditions, she accepts general nutrition clients as well. She understands that no two people are exactly alike, and customizes nutrition plans with this in mind.

In her spare time, Resolute enjoys reading, dancing, and experimenting in her kitchen.

What is nutritional therapy?

Nutritional Therapy is a non-medical holistic approach to maximizing your health.  It focuses on supporting the foundational functions of your body to allow you to return to balance, beginning with a natural, whole food diet.

Tools include a series of Q&A combined with physical palpations to tap into your body’s innate intelligence.  With these tools, we develop a customized plan, to include nutritional counseling and supplementation when appropriate.

Resolute is your guide as you do the work. Once you know which way to turn, it’s easier to stay on course.  And, when you discover what it is like to truly nourish your body, it feels like freedom!
